Very good food. And they check on you alot to see if you need anything.

Food was good an service was great.

Ordered their Fried Catfish, was delicious,hush puppies not so much,dry and almost the size of marbles. Homemade dessert fantastic! Great service although server could only give me a couple slices of lemon for my catfish, don't care for tarter sauce.

The food and service was good but the flies were ferocious.

Great place for a tradesman. Quick lunch and at great price. Homestyle cooking and different hot menu everyday, as well as cook to order menu. Can't recommend enough.

We we're traveling and looking for something different. Home cooked and not fast food. Figured from the looks of the parking lot it must be good. We both had the food bar and it was fresh and very good. Also very reasonable priced. We will sure pass the word along.

Pros: The portions were good. Food was okay. Service was decent and cheerful. Cons: Food was definitely nothing spectacular. It was very warm inside the restaurant. The bathrooms were not very clean. The tables and chairs were also dirty. Chairs looked like they hadn't been wiped down in six months. Price we paid for the food we got seemed a little high. They seemed to be out of a lot of items on the menu. We weren't terribly impressed.

Love eating here with the wife and kids. Highly recommend the catfish, grilled or fried and the Cajun fried corn on the cob and fried green tomatoes!

I’ve been going to Kilgore’s since I was really little and it’s always been my go to restaurant. Everytime I come to smithville, it’s the first place I go. It has amazing friendly staff and amazing food. I definitely recommend going there.

Sunday skillet chicken with some curly fries, so good. Definitely be back, waiter was very timely didnt wait long to order, cooks are quick with your meal. Great price as well 2 can eat for under 25$

Good spot to get a meat and three not many of those left around. I really enjoy their country fried steak with gravy.

Food is good. I have only been here once and it was take out so I dnt really know much about the inside. I do know that the food is delicious though ! 😉

They have very good food.

I think they are the best restaurant in Tennessee- and I've eaten at places all over the state. Their Ribeye steaks are better than Longhorn or other steakhouses. Their Catfish is awesome. Their burgers are the very best real beef. Try their "Big Jim's Cheeseburger"- 10 oz. . Just tell them how you want it cooked and what sides you want.They have chicken dishes, shrimp dishes, salads, Philly Steaks, Sirloins, and many other dishes.And no; I don't work there, I am not related to them, and I don't get free food. I just appreciate quality.

Really food good And prices. Wait staff is young so they talk amongst themselves a lot. Bathrooms could be updated.

Staff was great. Customers not used to seeing black people with money I guess. A feww couldn't take their eyes off of us. Recommend going as a group and not at night. Ijs

Mediocre country cooking

Soul food yum yum yum yum. Clean, fast, friendly and extremely cheap. Much bigger than it looks. Food is hot. Tea is cold. Staff very friendly. Locals love this place.

Their catfish is great, loved it, server was friendly, place was clean, Recommend it any day
